SEA is holding a workshop to train scientists to run for office on May 10th at Georgetown University. If you are a scientist or engineer and have been considering running for office or working on an election campaign, then join us for a crash course on how it’s done. I am an emeritus professor or biology, University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, now living in Middleton, WI. I have been involved in environmental issues since 1968, remain interested in the political process, have been emailed information about a workshop at Georgetown University that gives such as myself the tools to run for public office and then to function effectively once in office. Please let me know if there is a record of this workshop that I would be able to obtain. Thank you.

Great question. We video taped the entire workshop and have plans to make the material available online for our members. There are plenty of other ways you can get involved as well, so please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
