Make sure you tell us a little about yourself. If approved, we will give you specific instructions on how to send us your blog post. In the meantime, here are our basic guidelines.
- Keep it pithy. The best blog posts get straight to the point.
- No profanity or disparaging remarks. We want you to express your ideas, even your emotional ones. Just try to keep it clean.
- Remember to give your post a title and indicate how you would like to be identified.
- You can have images in your post, but they must be original, in the public domain or have a Creative Commons license.
- Sorry, we do not allow anonymous blogging on the site.
- Original material only, please. We proudly keep a Creative Commons license on all material we publish and encourage you to repost it to your personal site, but we don’t want to publish your old writing.
- You must be a member of SEA to blog for us.
- We do not pay for posts. Sorry, we just don’t have the budget.
- Your entry WILL be edited, so please indicate whether you would like to review edits before the piece is published.
- We reserve the right to reject any entries that we deem inappropriate for any reason. Nothing personal.
