Blog for SEA

Interested in blogging for SEA? We’d love to have your input. Simply send an e-mail describing what you would like to blog on to stebbins (at) sefora (dot) org with the subject “Blog for SEA”. Make sure you tell us a little about yourself. If approved, we will give you specific instructions on how to send us your blog post. In the meantime, here are our basic guidelines.

  1. Keep it pithy. The best blog posts get straight to the point.
  2. No profanity or disparaging remarks. We want you to express your ideas, even your emotional ones. Just try to keep it clean.
  3. Remember to give your post a title and indicate how you would like to be identified.
  4. You can have images in your post, but they must be original, in the public domain or have a Creative Commons license.
  5. Sorry, we do not allow anonymous blogging on the site.
  6. Original material only, please. We proudly keep a Creative Commons license on all material we publish and encourage you to repost it to your personal site, but we don’t want to publish your old writing.
  7. You must be a member of SEA to blog for us.
  8. We do not pay for posts. Sorry, we just don’t have the budget.
  9. Your entry WILL be edited, so please indicate whether you would like to review edits before the piece is published.
  10. We reserve the right to reject any entries that we deem inappropriate for any reason. Nothing personal.
